The Pool & Hot Tub Alliance is the organization that emerged when the National Swimming Pool Foundation and the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals joined forces in 2019.
The Certified Pool Operator Course is one of the most recognized in the industry and lays the groundwork for an individual to begin their career in the industry.
The initial certification is good for 5 years. Recertification can be done by taking a one day review course as long as the certification is still valid. If the CPO certification is expired you must take the full 2 day course (in-person or blended).
